The Solar Schools website is built in cooperation with Grassroots Marketing Alliance, Department of Energy, Utilities and Sustainability (DEUS), The Queensland Environmental Energy Agency (EPA) and Brown Paper Bag. Brown Paper Bag provides web consultancy and design and development of the Solar Schools website.

The website captures daily generation statistics from each participating school making it a dynamic educational and research resource. The graphs show real data from each participating Australian Solar School system and are updated hourly.

The website also includes an administration system which allows administrators to add and maintain their schools showcased on the website.

Brown Paper Bag also developed the software which is installed at the schools to collect and feed the solar panel data to the Solar Schools website.
