Project Overview
Solarschools.net was developed to provide schools with real life
energy usage data in a fun and educational way. The site features
dynamically generated data reports from every school involved in
the program, allowing direct comparisons between solar energy
generated and emissions prevented.
Over the next 18 months, 1317 new schools will become active
solarschools.net members with this number expected to grow
significantly in Australia and internationally in the near future.
Brown Paper Bag has and will continue to play a key role in the
development and delivery of this program.

What is Data Logging?
Data logging for Solarschools.net involves measuring and
recording the solar energy generation data at each school in the
program. Brown Paper Bag uses ThinLinx Hot-e thin clients at each school site
to process this data.
